Contact points agreement with Politecnico di Torino (Italy)


On September 19, 2024, Nagoya City University(NCU) and Politecnico di Torino(PoliTo), Italy have concluded contact points agreement.

Kiyofumi Asai, President of NCU, and Takayoshi Aoki, Dean, Graduate School of Design and Architecture, visited PoliTo and attended the signing ceremony.

PoliTo and NCU signed an academic exchange agreement in 2001 followed by the conclusion of sister city agreement between Nagoya city and Torino City in 2005. Student exchange are carried out every year and joint research is conducted in the field of architecture.
NCU now has eight contact points universities in Turkey, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Indonesia, France and Italy.

NCU will actively promote academic and student exchange with PoliTo.

As a symbol of friendship, NCU presented PoliTo with a Noh mask donated by the student’s family.
